R.E.T. is an advocacy and education platform for individuals in the fight against addiction, as well as their loved ones and community members. Through this platform, R.E.T. aims for the goal of long-term recovery for all its members and a community that no longer fears or stigmatizes the recovering or mentally challenged person but treats them with dignity and respect.
Mission
Their mission is dedicated to the total recovery and restoration of persons suffering from the disease of addiction. They are committed to providing a haven and holistic service for minorities within their community. Their programs will include Christian and Spiritual principles. They believe the principles that bring them together are the foundation of success for continued recovery and support of one another.
Recent Developments since joining the i2i program include:
• Non-Profit Evolution: Since i2i, RET has successfully transformed into a fully functioning non-profit, solidifying its commitment to community service.
• Harm Reduction Mobile Unit: RET mobile unit actively engages the community, providing essential harm reduction services and contributing to a safer environment for those facing addiction challenges.
• Trauma Training and Curriculum: Regular trauma training for staff and community clients ensures a holistic approach to recovery, emphasizing mental well-being.
• Securing Permanent Residence and Funding: RET is actively pursuing a permanent residence and securing funding for future programming, positioning itself for sustained impact and growth.
